The R5 was also subject to conversion to "cabriolet", like this "Cleveland" model.
This modification was carried out by an English firm. The bodywork incorporates a roll-over bar, and a strengthened chassis. The opening boot and the folding rear seats were maintained providing an ample and easily accessible luggage space.
